As a Vancouver Chiropractor for over 12 years, I have seen and treated all ages in my practice. One common thread at any age to improve posture and decrease strain is to create movement. So whether its me adjusting the spine and mobilizing the joints in my office, or its the patient stretching and exercising at home, movement is key. Bodies need it to stay lubricated, balanced, vital, and strong. Its never too late to start.
Know what your needs and limitations are at first and gradually increase. Consult your chiropractor first to understand your body’s position and once your spine is balanced, it will be more efficient at stretching and strengthening.
