Meet Dr. Nora Rahemtulla

Dr. Nora Rahemtulla is a very experienced chiropractor and a dedicated mother of three young children. In addition to 8 years of schooling and 15 years of private practice, Dr. Nora has completed post-doctorate training in pediatrics and peri-natal care.

Dr. Nora is committed to continuing education in chiropractic health and to giving her patients the most up-to-date natural health care available. As your Vancouver chiropractor, she frequently attends chiropractic post-graduate seminars on topics such as:radiology, neurology, sports injuries, nutrition and exercise physiology.

As a result of the combination of professional training, continuing education and experience, Dr. Nora is able to assist:

 
  • expectant and new mothers with physical challenges and changes that they often experience during and after pregnancy
  • infants and young children with spinal care to optimize spinal growth and development, prevent poor posture, and screen for scoliosis
  • athletes to prevent further injury and enhance performance in sport and training
  • young and senior adults with arthritic pain arising from activities of daily living, overuse, and traumatic injuries

Through her practical experience she has developed a distinct style of treatment that combines chiropractic care with body awareness using exercise and movement instruction.

As a chiropractor in Vancouver BC, Dr. Nora has lectured and conducted seminars in both small and large group settings on topics ranging from back safety and ergonomics to injury prevention in the workplace.

Past speaking engagements have included companies such as The Bank of Nova Scotia and The Rocky Mountain Railway Company as well as a variety of groups such as dental hygienists, nurses, expectant and new mothers and employees in the hospitality industry.

Dr. Nora has also been commissioned by companies to assess and restructure the ergonomics of their employees to prevent injury on the job and thereby increase productivity.
